Bex, or Waggy as she is known to her friends, has been a member of Flute Cocktail for 8 years and is a member of the Flute Cocktail Committee. In addition to the flute, she also plays the piano, recorder and saxophone, being a member of several local amateur bands as well as playing professionally.

After completing her A levels, Bex took a gap year where she taught flute and completd her ABRSM diploma in teaching music. Bex has recently completed a degree in speech and language therapy at Marjons in Plymouth achieving first class honours.
