Rehearsals with Tim

Once again this year there will be opportunities to rehearse informally with Tim Carey. It is not necessary to have pieces prepared to performance standard, but the better prepared, the more there is to gain from the experience. Please book in for these on arrival and we will try and accommodate as many people as possible.

Just Flutes.

Just Flutes from Croyden will be present throughout the whole weekend with a huge selection of flutes, headjoints, accessories and sheet music. We have made sure that there will be ample time to browse and shop. If there is anything specific you requie please inform them and they will add it to the list

recommended for grades 2-5

Saturday 27th 2pm - 5.45pm

This afternoon session is especially aimed at less advanced players, to enjoy the experience of playing together. The afternoon will be run by 2 local teachers, Vicky Lambert and Rebecca Wagstaff, who are both diploma standard flute players. The aim is to cover a wide range of flute related topics, such as ensemble playing, basic flute maintenance and creative flute playing. This will run along side the main festival and all attendees will have the chance to browse the shop, meet Paul and Tim and then perform at the end of day mini concert.

Cost will be £5 for the afternoon to include refreshments. Attendance also entitles you to a half price ticket to the evening recital. Please note under 16's must be accompanied to the recital by an adult.
