Kate's introduction to Flute Cocktail came in 2004 when they performed her flute choir composition "Town and Tor" and she has since arranged various music for the ensemble. Most recently she wrote "Ten" especially for Flute Cocktail which they performed during their tenth anniversary year in 2010.

Kate works in Cornwall for the Education Business Partnership and Music Cornwall and she enjoys her forays into Devon where she really values the fluting, fun and friendship at Flute Cocktail.
